Halloween Time Stardoll!

Hey guys it's Emily again!

Halloween is fast approaching in many countries and even though my country doesn't celebrate Halloween I am very excited to see Stardoll bringing back Halloween items!

At the moment it doesn't seem like Stardoll have brought back the Halloween costumes/clothes yet but let's cross our fingers and hope that Stardoll will soon.

I don't know about you but I am very happy that most of the items available are available to ALL members - superstars and non-superstars! What about you?

My first post, of many! :)

Hello, I'm Cristina, on Stardoll know as Cr.12345. I'm the new writer of Speak Up Stardoll. I also write for The Voice and Stardoll Design Magazine (owned by FickyFicky). I love writing, if it was a man, I'd marry it. Haha! I had to admit its a huge part of my life. Whether its a story or a blog, I love writing. I was born for it, my lovelies. 

I will be writing mostly fashion related stuff (New Collections/Stores, fashion trends, quotes etc.)… And since this blog is called Speak Up Stardoll I'm going to write opinions on stuff and much more. So, don't worry, I'll keep it active and do my best to make this blog be heard ;)

Hotbuys

Hey guys it's Emily (onetaurus) again!
My apologies for not posting so often as I probably should!
Hotbuys, one of Stardoll's collector items, new ones being brought out every month and some old ones make another appearance every so often.
Hotbuys are nice but I have noticed a slight increase in their prices over the last couple of years.
You could originally get a dress for around about 8 stardollars, then 12 and now...

Hotbuy prices have risen quite a bit.

What do you think of the prices now? Do you feel the prices for hotbuys are worth it?

It's Kendra123123 guys. I haven't been so active the past couple of days! I haven't even been on Stardoll. Ever since school started I haven't been online lately. It's just so hard to find time for homework and everything else. But that doesn't mean that YOU GUYS have to stop being active as well.

Miss Stardoll World - Round 2!

Miss Stardoll World is now in full swing as round 1 has wrapped up and we can now see all our wonderful finalists!
Suprisingly I actually got into round 2 for Australia and some people I wished to get in didn't.
Now, this isn't an advertisement for you to vote for me (although votes are appreciate) but it's just to put that thought in your head that MSW can be full of suprises and that you never know what's going to happen!
Also another thought that hopefully got put into your head is that maybe some people who deserved to go through to round 2 haven't.

I SPOKE UP, AND YOU SHOULD TOO!

ALRIGHT! I'VE HAD ENOUGH! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF MESSAGING CALLIE AND THE OTHER STARDOLL STAFF AND NOT GETTING A REPLY! I'M TIRED OF MESSAGING A QUESTION TO STARDOLL ONLY TO HAVE THEM TELL ME "Thank for your suggestion....(etc.)" I'M TIRED OF HAVING TO DEAL WITH SCAMMERS, LOSING MY ACCOUNT AND SO MUCH MORE AND ASKING FOR HELP FOR THE FIRST TIME AND HAVE THEM SAY "Change your password..." WHEN YOU'VE GIVEN THEM THE WHOLE STORY AND YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE PASSWORD. I MEAN, SERIOUSLY, I HAVE PAID REAL MONEY FOR THE SITE AND LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE AND EVEN IF NOT MONEY YOU GIVE TIME AND DEVOTION AND IT'S TIME FOR US TO GET THE RESPECT WE DESERVE! SERIOUSLY STARDOLL, THINK WITH YOUR HEARTS, NOT YOUR WALLETS! BUT I WAS PUSHED OVER THE EDGE TODAY AND i SENT THIS MESSAGE TO CALLIE:

Why don't you reply to my message. It only takes a few minutes to make my entire week but you choose not to, why? This is why I log on, check my messages and log off. Because here on Stardoll I feel like I'm not heard, and like the staff just don't give a dam about the people and children who use Stardoll. As if, we're not important, and that they're above everyone and anything. That may not be true, but no one is proving me wrong. I mean, I've asked tons of staff for help in various topics, because everytime I message Stardoll, they say "Thank you for your suggestion...blah blah blah" even when it's a question...and that PROVES that Stardoll probably doesn't even read the message I send...and now....you too. "I am here because I love what I do! STARDOLL IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO SEE AND BE SEEN." Really Callie? Because I'm seeing but I really don't think ANY of you are seeing me..... and I'm telling you the truth, and not trying to be rude. Most people believe me, agree with me, but they're just too afraid to speak out. And since they won't, I'll be their voice. I mean, think about it. Without us, no Stardoll. Without Stardoll, no job. WE'RE the reason you're all high and mighty. WE ARE! Without us (the stardoll users) you'd be out of a job. Now please, give back everything we've given to you. And this isn't just because you don't reply to my messages or something. This is because I feel you don't care enough about the Stardoll users to even answer them. And I get that you have loads to do, but is it so hard to take like 5 seconds out of your day to reply to not mine, but just SOMEONE'S message atleast. To show that you do care and make someone's day. Put yourself in our shoes, and see how it feels. Well, that's all I have to say. And like every other staff, I don't expect you to care, and like every other Staff including Stardoll, I don't expect you to care. I mean no disrespect, this is just how I feel and I don't think I should be punished for it for giving my, as you would call it, feedback.

Starpoints!

Hey guys, it's Emily here! (AKA onetaurus!)
Starpoints, starpoints STARPOINTS!

We all strive to earn as many as we can but sometimes it seems as if they are not going up!
To earn starpoints just be active around Stardoll although sometimes you may recieve more starpoints for doing less. It's weird I understand but that has happened to me! ;)

So, there is no real key in gaining a whole bunch of starpoints, but you can end up gaining a lot of starpoints by getting active around Stardoll, earning starcoins and being patient! It takes time for your starpoints to build up (trust me I know) especially when you can only earn up to 12 a day! ;)
I have 10,060 starpoints, yep, I know it's not the most somebody has but I may be able to answer any questions that you have about starpoints (including the prizes!).

Ok pretty ladies, it's that time of year again, in support of breast cancer awareness!! So we all remember last years game of writing your bra color as your status on facebook?.....or the way we like to have our handbag handy? Remember last year so many people took part that it made national news and, the constant updating of status reminded everyone why we're doing this and helped raise awareness!! THIS TIME we post it on our Stardoll presentations! And please DO NOT tell the males why we are doing this. And please copy and paste (in a message) this to all your female friends to see if we can make a bigger fuss this year than last year!!! I did my part... now YOUR turn ! What's Going On With The Broadcasts Today?

Alright, so today I logged on Stardoll and I tried to send a broadcast. But it had the same message it had yesterday saying "Dear member, at the moment the broadcast queue is very long, therefore we are temporarily forced to disable the possibility to create new broadcasts. But rest assure, all current messages in the queue will be displayed as usual." This, I can understand, there are a lot of broadcasts because everyone is broadcasting for MSW. But what I DON'T understand is why ALL DAY they have been sending messages from Stardoll ONLY. Things like "Stardoll: Get more visitors to your MyPage. Broadcast!: and "Stardoll: Speak to the world! Broadcast your own message here..." and so on and so forth. All day they have been sending these messages. I don't understand why! It just doesn't make and sense whatsoever! Please Stardoll, fix this.

How to Get Free Superstar

Once you've signed up you can start earning. Now a lot of people find this hard but it's really very simple. Honestly, I earned 10 points in 2 days. So I'll give you a few tips:

1. Don't pick the offers with the most points. I suggest you choose the offers like ArcaMax and use different emails for them. It's short, VERY easy and the more of those you do the more the points add on. You can get about  3 or 4 points from this alone.

2. When you star doing the ones that have thousands of offers (like the free ipad things) just continuously hit the "skip" button at the bottom of the offer until you reach the last page. Sometimes it's at the top and in small print where it says "no thanks". It's really quite simple.

3. Lastly, with the referrals link, simply open a new browser, copy and paste the referrals link, sign up with a new email and do ONE offer. (I suggest the ArcaMax for this as well) and you'll be credited. If you keep this going you'll have 10 points in no time, and you'll be able to purchase a Stardoll Card. Hotbuys prices gone crazy!

I apologize for not being online, it was because of my vacation in Spain :)

Anyways, today i wanted to talk about the hotbuys prices change. If you're an old member you would remember when you could buy a hotbuys jacket for 5sd or boots for 6. Nowadays the prices gone crazy!! Dress for 26 sd! Boots for 12 sd.. Etc.. How do you feel about this??? I think stardoll should return the old prices, because its kind of a rip off. Please let us know in a comment

Never change yourself.

Ok everyone. My name is Emily (aka onetaurus).

As you all know Miss Stardoll World 2011 is fast approaching and some of you may feel pressured to change yourself because you feel as if you're not good enough to win or have been called 'ugly'.
Well, I am here to tell you NOT to change!
No-one should change themselves because of what people say about them.
Everyone has a unique and fabulous style that should be presented to the world! Everyone is different and that is why everyone will cop a bit of criticism at one stage or another in their lifetime!
Please do not change, but shine out you light to everyone available!
Let people know that whatever your style is, that it's your and you like it no matter what anyone says!

People have even me ugly. Even recently too.
So I do know how it feels but you shouldn't be pressured into changing. It's not right and it's not fair.
You are who you are and you can't change that. Likewise they are who they are and therefore everyone is going to have 'haters' along the line.
Changing to be someone who you are not (even just your medoll!) shouldn't be encouraged! To me it is not necessary and is horrible and makes people a bad influence to other people especially to the little ones here on Stardoll.
Be someone people can look up to!
Be yourself!

Beauty Parlor Problems

There are so many problems with the Beauty Parlor. But one of the main things that irritate me about the Beauty Parlor is the fact that when you work so hard on your doll's makeup and you have lots of makeup and it takes you a while to get the make up down and you save it, than you decide you want to change ONE thing, like the lip color and you have to erase everything! All your hard work gone down the drain and you have to start all over with your make up JUST so you can change the color of the lips or something like that. I mean seriously StarDoll, you should have a small eraser. That way, you rub the eraser over just one part of your face and you erase just the part that you rubbed the eraser over. That way you can change just the lip color, or the eye, or whatever you want to change without having to erase everything. Does that sound like a good idea to you guys?
